Veterinary Urgent Care Designed To Help

Thunder Bay Veterinary Urgent Care’s mission is to serve as a bridge to provide veterinary urgent and emergency care over the weekend and some holidays when your family veterinarian is closed or unavailable. You are not required to be an existing client to use our services; everyone is welcome. We know emergencies can happen at the most unexpected times, and believe that you shouldn’t have to wait to get your pet the urgent care he or she needs.

Quality Care for You and Your Pet

Our clinic is part of the only 12% of practices accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We firmly believe in providing excellent veterinary medicine to your pet. Dr. Anna-Marie Struble, our primary veterinarian at the clinic, is also a Fear Free Certified Professional. Our veterinary team will ensure your pet remains safe and at ease while in our care. Animals deserve to be treated with the same dignity as any other living being, and we do our best to minimize the anxiety that they might experience during a visit to the veterinarian, especially when experiencing a medical crisis.

Well-Equipped Veterinary Urgent Care

Thunder Bay Veterinary Urgent Care shares facilities with Switzer Veterinary Clinic. While we operate out of the same building, our goals, staff, phone number, and available hours are separate.

Our facility is well-equipped with the medical equipment and diagnostic tools we need to diagnose and treat your pet with quick efficiency. Whether it’s a broken bone, laceration, or other serious ailment, we are set up to quickly get to the root cause of your pet’s emergency.
