Meet the Team
Anna-Marie Struble, DVM, cVMA
Dr. Anna-Marie Struble DVM cVMA is thrilled to be continuing her career as a Fear Free certified veterinarian in Northern Michigan. She grew up downstate and spent almost ten years in Ohio before finding her true calling in veterinary medicine. She's passionate for kind, compassionate medicine and is trained in acupuncture from anatomic perspective. She and her geologist / hockey goalie husband, Alex, are currently occupied with DIY home renovations but are looking forward to enjoying their hobbies more in the future - traveling, experimenting in the kitchen, enjoying nature, and spoiling their fur children, Tomas the oversized cat and Leif the dramatic husky mix.
Rebecca Moutard, LVT
Rebecca (a/k/a Becky) graduated from Macomb Community College in 1987 as a Veterinary Technician with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. She moved to Lincoln in 2020 with her husband, 3 horses, 2 dogs and 2 barn cats. Becky started hercareer off in a small animal hospital in New Baltimore to eventually move on to working at Wayne State University. She eventually migrated into human medicine as a surgical scheduler for an Orthopedic surgeon. Later opened her own business doing real estate title work but missed working with animals. Becky is thrilled to be back in Veterinary Medicine to love on and help care for your fur babies.
In her spare time, you will find Becky at the stables or on the trails with her horses. When she is not at the barn, she is rock hunting or sitting by the water reading a good book
Emily Roussin
Emily is local to Alpena for most of her life. Her family moved up from Detroit in 1986, and bought a fixer-upper hobby farm in Lachine. Emily soon found a passion for horses. It wasn't long before she and her family started breeding and showing Appaloosa horses all over the state of Michigan. She even dipped her toes into showing at the national level with her horse, at the time, Stat Carrie. Emily has hung up her reins, now has a family of her own (husband John, three boys Layne, Liam, and Jaxton) along with a little menagerie of pets (a rescue cat Ozzy, three dogs Murdock, Nelson & Piper, a hedgehog Peter Quill, and a beautiful flock of hens).
Izzy Denstaedt
Before joining the team at TBVUC, Izzy graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri with a theater degree in Technical Direction. She has lived in Alpena for most of her life with her family, her dog Whimbly, and cat Harry. Working with animals has always been a goal for her and she is thrilled to be a part of the team. When not at the clinic you can find Izzy reading a good book, playing the guitar or flute, or playing games with friends.
